I’m linking up with Lindsey again for WIWW! Here’s what I’ve worn for the last week:)
We had great father’s day weekend with my In laws:-) We had steak and yummy side dishes! We wanted to have a special dinner for my Dad In law and family before they’ll leave for their Hawaii vacation tomorrow! Zach prepared the steaks (he made 2 sauces, Bernaise and blue cheese both Ina Garten recipe) while I took care of the side dishes while my mom in law did dessert:). Happy Father’s day to all of the special father’s out there! Thinking of my dad and brother in PI too! I miss them, but we’ll be seeing them soon. I’m so excited:)
This post is sooooooo late, as I’ve mentioned before I had issues with wordpress but hubby “fixed” it already (thanks Ga!). We invited some of our friends and my inlaws to have burgers and games at home. Such a fun day with family and friends and of course yummy burgers! Zach made “cuban” burgers and to my surprise they were delicious! hehe, makes me laugh! Cuban burger during memorial day…I just wanted a plain american cheeseburger. Hubby can be very adventurous but sometimes at the wrong time. Enjoy the pics:)
This resto is only 10 minutes away from our place! I think we’re lucky that a lot of good restos are just couple of minutes away from us, so whenever we are craving for yummy food we don’t have to go to Seattle or Bellevue just to eat delicious food:). I got a 20$ off coupon from Flat Iron grill in the mail last week and suggested to hubby that we put it to use! After dinner we went to Barnes and Noble, where I found the latest book of hubby’s favorite all time series, “The Wheel of Time, Towers of Midnight – Book 12 of 13”, then we watched the movie Bridesmaid! Love date nights with my hubby!
Tom Douglas’ pizza place “serious pie” is the BOMB! This is my 2nd time to dine in their small and intimate place but it’s always a treat! The pizzas are quite pricey but it’s so worth it:-) We ate so much that we decided to walk around pike place just to “burn” the calories!LOL..
Hi! I’m back here once again after 3 weeks or more of not blogging. I had a little issue with WordPress in downloading pics and only my computer genius of a hubby can fix it, yet with his schedule lately I gotta wait for all my blogs! Most of my blogs will be from last months food adventures:-)
I’m joining Lindsey at Pleated Poppy again this time for WIWW!
This is my 2nd week that I’m linking up with Lindsey at the Pleatedpoppy for “What I Wore Wednesday”. It’s so much fun to see what other women are wearing and getting inspiration for myself, to dress better(it’s fun being a girl:-)..I’m usually a shirt and sweatpants and flip flops kind of girl thank God for my husband whose been encouraging me to “dress appropriately” ( sometimes I still wear flip flops even if it’s snowing outside!hehe.) The weather here in Washington (last week) was really nice so I was able to wear my flipflops, I’m a big fan of sandals/flipflops! I cannot wait for summer:)
Saturday afternoon, it rained so I had to wear my boots!
yellow polo shirt and jeans = abercrombie, flipflops= tory, bad=guess (gift from Sis IL)
Today I’m linking up with Laura over at Heavenly Homemakers for what she calls “gratituesday”. You should link up with her if you are grateful for something today (and everyday).
This week I’m grateful that:
I’m grateful that the Lord has given me and my Hubby an opportunity to help someone this week and be a blessing.
I’m grateful that I have a loving husband. He is so kind and he just has all kinds of patience for me! There were times this week when I just wanted to not do anything, times when you want to cry but you don’t know why you want to cry (with all the “end of the world news, tornado, missing family and friends, hormones = too much for me). You know that you need to do something but you just “avoid” doing it. Yeah, I’ve been having those days lately. But thank God for my husband because he’s quick to remind me that God is in control!
I’m grateful that for a couple of days the weather here in Washington was sunny and that I’m able to wear my flipflops for 3 days in a row(last week!!)..Now it’s just typical grey, but I’m Ok with that:)
Thankful for coupons! hehe, since I started watching TLCs extreme couponing, I started doing it myself but not the “extreme way ” like what you see in the show. I was so happy that I got this Hershey’s candy for just 1$ when the original price was 3 $..2 $ saved thanks to coupons:) “wooohoo!! LOL! makes me laugh.. I’m starting to “collect” chocolates and candies because before the year ends, I’ll be visiting PI and I have lots of little cousins who will be so happy to get these little goodies that I’ve started to buy for them.
I’m grateful for moments like these:
