Happy Easter!

Hello Friends! I hope you had a wonderful Easter weekend! He is Risen!! Jesus is Alive:) Thankful for what Jesus did on the cross, He paid it all! What a Savior!!

We had a relaxing Easter weekend with family! Went to Church and celebrated Easter dinner at my Sister In-law’s house. We had a honey baked ham,mac and cheese, potato gratin, salads, rolls (lots of yummy food as usual)! Zach made deviled eggs with tobiko (it’s ‘different’ according to Grandma Jean!). Mia made everybody happy because she didn’t cry and everybody was able to hold her! She got an Easter basket from her grandparents, and us! She was actually checking her basket and holding the goodies when we got home! Here are some of our Easter pics (I took thousands of pics:)!

Weekend Fun!

Hello friends! I hope you had a nice and relaxing weekend with your loved ones. We did some errands and had a Filipino dinner with our friends Faye and Roger (and their kids!). I’ve been friends with Faye for 7 years now and she’s also a Filipina like me. She used to live and work in the same city where I grew up, but we only met each other here in Washington state! What a small world! Although we don’t get to see each other often, she’s one of the most authentic people I know! Thanks, Madame Faye and Roger for the sumptuous Filipino dinner!

I convinced the Hubs to try the new Macchiato flavors from Starbucks and we didn’t like them! Both were a disappointment (I’m talking about the cinnamon macchiato and coconut almond milk something..YUCK!)
Cabeza tacos from our fave food truck!
Miss Mia excited to see Auntie Faye!
Roast Pork Belly/Lechon Belly

happy to see my dear friend Faye!

thanks for stopping friends!

Mia Boo!

Hello Friends! I had a little issue with my computer thus I wasn’t able to post here lately. Anyways, this month Mia turned 5 months old and we usually invite our In laws for dinner, hang-out and celebrate our little miracle! She is one precious baby. We love you Mia James!

She’s holding a little pic of her sonogram!

Thank You Uncle Rob for this dress! (Zach’s Uncle)
  1. We had salmon and crab cakes for dinner!
These roast vegetables were yummy!

Happy Valentines!

Hello friends! Happy Valentines day, I hope its a great one for you and your loved ones! We stayed home today, but this weekend the Hubs and I will go have dinner and the grandparents will watch our Boo! This is our 11 years together in celebrating  Vday! We normally keep our Valentines celebration simple. My hubs asked me if I wanted something for Vday, and told him I really don’t want anything. No flowers, chocolates. I prepared Filipino Escabeche (sweet and sour whole fish), Ribeye Steak, then we had hot chocolate to end the night!

Weekend Fun!

Hello Friends! Our little Mia Boo had a cough this week so we stayed home, except to do some grocery shopping. Aside from the cough, she’s good, but we still called her Pediatrician just to be sure. I discovered that she likes the baby Vicks! It’s the non-medicated ointment, so no worries! I swear she naps easily after I put a little on her chest and neck! Or maybe it’s just a coincidence? Who knows! I still find it funny…my sisters were laughing when I told them about it. I had to take a picture and show them. HA!

The Hubs got us cupcakes to enjoy this weekend!

More cuddles with my Boo! I love our photo bomber too..Love my Puss!

This weekend, My MIL Kathy’s friend Linda gave Mia some gifts since she couldn’t make it to the shower! So thoughtful and kind!

Yummy Mexican food for us! We usually do take out on the weekends:)

Went to the Asian Market and got out favorite yogurt! This is the best one out there.

Have a great evening friends!

Weekend Fun!

Hello friends! Hope you were able to relax and enjoy your weekend! We watched the Superbowl at Grandmas place. She is a big football fan and loves the Seahawks (but I think she was cheering on the Pats yesterday!). The hubs and I could care less about football ( I prefer basketball) but it was fun hanging out with the family and enjoy the crazy game!

we had cupcakes to celebrate Mia’s 4 months!

Mia Boo wasn’t in the mood to blow her candle!hehe

We had a snow day today (Monday) and we took some pictures with Mia but didn’t get around to building a snowman! When she’s a little older though, we’ll have lots of fun in the snow for sure! Zach and Riley, however, did spend some time outside today enjoying the snow!

He can’t wait to play outside!

Happy 4 months Mia Boo! we love you Boo:)

Hello!

Hello family and friends! I’ve been MIA for the last couple of months because just the week after my last post, I gave birth prematurely to our baby Mia (6 weeks early!). She’s been in the NICU for 3 weeks so it was a crazy hectic October for us. She is doing so good now (praise the Lord!). We also had Lots of family visiting us around october and november, and the next thing I know the Holiday season is here! I will be posting this new year (Hello 2017!) and I wish you a safe and Happy New Year to you and your family!

Merry Christmas!
The best time of the year!
We got to visit Santa

Baby Stuff!

Hello Everyone! Happy Tuesday! We only have 7 weeks to go before our due date and we are starting to get ready and prepare for our baby’s arrival. A couple of months ago (I think I was 5 months preggy here; I’m 8 months now) we invited our In laws to join us as we checked out baby stuff and help us decide what to get for the babe. We visited 2 stores (Babies R Us and Buy Buy baby) they are pretty close to each other, thus we decided to check them both. Both stores are overwhelming but we did have fun checking and testing baby items. A lot of the items are too gimmicky for us and we didn’t fall for the trap! We didn’t end up buying a single thing.

After our time at Buy Buy Baby and Babies R US, we had a late lunch at Bahama Breeze (it’s an American/Caribbean type of restaurant). We’ve only been here twice and we always enjoyed the atmosphere (it’s quite large too) and loved the food and drinks.

Washington State Fair 2016!

Hello Friends! How are you all doing? I’m still here, getting heavy because of the pregnancy, but doing good all in all. A little busy with classes related to pregnancy (newborn class, breastfeeding, childbirth and labor, etc). We still have classes to attend in the coming weeks. It’s been hectic but exciting times for sure. Anyways, early this week my husband and I went to the Washington state fair to watch one of my favorite Christian bands, For King and Country (Matt Maher performed too). I love their music and there’s no way I’m going to miss their performance here in WA (they’ve been here before and I missed it). So fun to see them perform and hear their testimonies and relationship with the Lord. Fair food was a big bonus too!

Pike Place Market!

Hello friends! Happy weekend! For the last weekend that my sis was here, we went to Seattle and browsed Pike place. We love the Market! It’s such a tourist destination but you’d be surprised that a lot of locals still visit the area on a regular basis. Before heading to the market we first had lunch at our favorite pizza place in Seattle “Serious Pie”.  If you love gourmet pizza you have to try this one. It’s so worth it! We always order their Penn clove clam, pancetta and lemon thyme (my fave on their menu).  It’s a small place so don’t be  surprised if you’ll share tables with strangers. After our lunch, off to the market we went to eat more food! We stopped at Le Panier to get macaroons and coffee.  My sister bought an over priced roast sweet corn ($5 each!) I didn’t want to participate in that nonsense! HA Surprisingly, the line was crazy long! Photo overload about to happen:
